# 13 Del.icio.us

I found it really easy to register with Del.icio.us and add some of my favourite bookmarked sites. I can see the potential of this tool for both research assistance and as an easy way to create bookmarks that can be accessed from anywhere? The URL for my favourites on Del.icio.us is: http://del.icio.us/kelliget

#12 Rollyo

Rollyo could be quite useful in the library world for literature searches, etc. I was able to create a searchroll for reader advisory websites and add a searchbox to my blog. When I have time I would like to explore this tool further. Tried to insert a link to my searchroll, but it wouldn't work. The URL is: www.rollyo.com/kelliget/karens_reader_advisory/

#11 Library Thing

LibraryThing | Catalog your books online

I didn't have any trouble setting up a LibraryThing account and adding books to my library, but I did have problems adding this list to my blog. I tried to follow the instructions from the LibraryThing site, but it didn't allow the URL to be copied to my blog. Only with some help from a work colleague was I able to be shown another way to add html/javascript to blogs. I find some of the technical stuff a bit hard to work out sometimes, but its worth all the brain strain when it works!!!

#10 Image Generators

I had a play around with some Image Generators and really liked these ones. I found them really easy to upload to my blog. Some of the animated ones were really great, but a bit more time consuming to design like the Bob Dylan and Jib Jab ones.

Daintree Rainforest

Daintree Rainforest, originally uploaded by claire moss.

Here's a photo that I've transferred across from Flickr. After scanning through various rainforest photos, I came across this one which reminded me of a trip to North Queensland a few years ago. I then followed the instructions on how to post the image to my blog and it worked!!

# 9 Finding feeds

I think that finding feeds can be very time consuming. I had a go at searching feed finders such as Feedster, Topix.net, Google Blog Search and Technorati. I had the most success with Google Blog search. Overall, I was able to find and add 10 library related news feeds to my bloglines account
